The history of Altered Oranges is long disputed. Some say they are a failed hybrid of the orange and a woodland berry. Other stories place them back in the Middle Ages as a vegetable crop wrongly labled due to it resembling the orange fruit. A hard and dry globus 'produce', brown in colour and with a musty green tinge. Perfect for all manner of spells and potions, or a failed crop befalling a cursed farmer. Used for witchcraft and spells ingredients.
These look great mixed with leaves or twigs in a basket as 'just collected' from the woods, or in jars and pots stored for the coming months.
Sold per bag of 14 approx.
5cm diameter per 'fruit'.
